Why does the world of Internet need Universal Acceptance?

Internet, as we know it today, has grown at an enormous rate and so has its user base. There are people from all around the world who recurrently rely on internet even for their subtle needs. Although the initial internet service was intended for convenient and quick information sharing across various facilities of the Department of Defense, it soon transformed into a virtual establishment with seamless connectivity and boundless possibilities.
Of course, internet can easily be placed among the list of top best human inventions till date, it still isn’t perfect in a way that everybody can use it according to their personal comfort. Internet, for the most part, has been addressed in English, and though it does not create any big stride, the percentage of total English speakers in the world is merely 20-21%. The world today is a communal consensus and that’s what internet needs to be.
Universal Acceptance: Need and Desire
The idea is to adopt, employ, advertise and promote Universal Acceptance to help build an internet that feels and works at its endemic best. Universal Acceptance is targeted towards an equal treatment of domain names and internet services. All the storage, validation and working of valid domain names should be accomplished through universal acceptance guidelines to allows users to access internet-based services in their preferred language. Universal Acceptance is the multilingual key to the Internet and its success will surely lead to the widespread convenience and satisfaction of users at a global scale. Universal acceptance is gradually becoming a prerequisite to help internet users across varied geographies to access internet services in their native language.

What leads to the next
Modern concepts like generic top-level domains (gTLD) can considerably promote the desired development in the domain name industry and therefore internet service providers need to be work upon gTLDs and internationalized TLDs to actuate better internet in the upcoming times. With Universal acceptance, a better domain world can be secured with equally benefiting compliance and support for all native languages across the globe.

Digital twins to bridge VR

Technological advancement in today’s world has far surpassed the absolute. Modern IT firms and business houses are greatly benefitted by present-day IT solutions, which they employ in almost every major work sector to achieve highest degree of efficiency and profit
Among the leading technological trends like AI, ML, RPA, Blockchain, and IoT, there emerged this particularly cryptic technology called Digital Twins. Although the concept of Digital Twins rests in its infancy, it will soon diffuse into mainstream IT world to actuate and streamline various hard-line jobs, which otherwise consume too many of resources and effort.
What’s with the Twins?
Fundamentally, Digital twins are virtual renders of real-world devices/machines which data scientists, performance testers and IT professional can use to virtually test product working before actually deploying the final built. It is a fast-emerging concept in the field of IoT and AI analytics and will soon help major corporates to virtually discover necessary analysis and save massive operational costs. With the use of Digital Twins, developers and IT professionals can easily optimize product performance beforehand, thus ensuring peak efficiency and practical performance.
Working
Digital twins are essentially devised to gather functional input data from enlisted sensors and machines. The data is directly fed into the digital twin system for a comprehensive real-time simulation of the work process, thereby allowing data analysts and developers with in-depth insights related to performance and potential problems. Twins can generally be understood as functional prototypes which can provide feedback for product refinement by means of advanced digital mirroring.
IoT
The biggest benefit of using modern Digital twins is that they can squarely predict and simulcast real-time renders with variable data. Most importantly, all the rendition is carried in a cutting-edge digital environment where radical analysis is practically attainable. For modern age IoT environment, Digital Twins mean optimization and preeminence. Its practical applications are beyond edge, making digital twins not just important but inevitable.
In the coming future, with considerable advancement in the field, digital twins will be able to accurately simulate how projects have performed over time, which could help in predicting future performance and possible failure.

Pre-budget Expectations- 2019

Finance Ministry of India will soon unveil its interim budget on 1st of February 2019. Traders and common masses are high on hopes with great expectations soaring around. Tax paying population is hoping for a substantial relaxation and if reports are to be believed, the finance ministry may double the income tax exemption threshold from the present Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.
Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley may also announce heavy relaxation in medical and transport taxation, thereby ensuring great relaxation for general public.
Income Tax Reform
Finance Ministry may also introduce Direct Tax Code, which will essentially replace the Income Tax, 1961, consequently making tax rates more dynamic for people in the 5% and 20% IT slabs.
LTCG
Long Term Capital Gain (LTCG) reform is expected to intensify this year, continuing its stride from previous year’s budget terms. According to market trends, industrialists are expecting LTCG on equity returns, thereby demanding LTCG availability in investment for ULIPs and NPS too. .
GST
The upcoming interim budget is expected to stay more around GST and its better implementation in the areas of SME. I believe pushing GST exemption limit to Rs. 40 L will greatly help the Indian economy and will surely help numerous SMEs, consequently attracting them to file annual returns and pay a simple quarterly tax.
Other than a proposed lower GST tax structure, the Govt. can also bring some reforms to increase online accounting and online tax calculation procedures for easy compliance regime.
Additional Reforms
Petroleum under GST: Considering the energy sector, government of India has long adjourned the process of bringing petroleum products under the GST slab. It is an evident fact that not just energy sector but all major production units in India are dependent on international crude oil prices. It accounts for a huge dent in Indian economy and can only be corrected by considering Oil and energy sector under Good and Service Tax.
GST Exemption in HR department: Apart from products and service sector, Govt should also consider an appreciable tax relief in the human workforce sector. In the forthcoming interim budget, Govt can provision new guidelines for HR benefits (employer-employee sector) to create a win-win situation for both employee and employer.
The GST bill has already been considered as a great catalyst for the Make in India initiative, due to its effect on indirect taxation like excise duty, service tax, value added tax (VAT), Central Sales Tax (CST), purchase tax, octroi, entry tax etc. In the upcoming budget, Finance Ministry should plan on reducing the GST rate on Make in India products/services and cut down the slab from 18% to 5% to provide increased benefits to indigenous businesses and enterprises.

How far can we reach with IoE

While the tech world is busy finding various application areas of IoT, an advanced implementation of the same is about to proliferate and actuate “Internet for Everybody”.

IoT, in simple terms is a digital construct where any type of physical or virtual entity can seamlessly communicate and transmit data to each other without human-machine intervention. In IoT, things can be any device or item which can initiate signalled communication by means of advanced sensors and microprocessors. One important concept for complete realization of IoT is uninterrupted communication between things with automated capabilities for data processing and decision making.

One step ahead, Internet of Everything (IOE), as I like to describe, is a seamless digital integration of people, process, data and entities within a well-defined network. It is advance furtherance to the breakthrough concept of IoT, but with data from humans and business processes included.

In my opinion, IoE is growing rapidly in today’s tech province and will unravel some great potential in technological growth and development. With extensive IoT implementation evident in smart cars, smart devices, health monitors etc, a fully connected IoE environment is not at all a farfetched thought.

Today, the concept of IoE may seem to be in its infancy but it will soon come across as the most widespread digital reality with People, Data and Processes connected in more relevant and valuable ways. Intelligent decision making will soon be automated, to an extent where every person can have access to right information at the right time.

The visible Future
Soon the present data abundance will multiply itself to inconceivable numbers, with every “thing” generating valuable real-time data. In order to harness the true potential of Data, enterprises will need advance big data and storage technologies to consolidate, evaluate and safeguard the extensive build up of growing data volumes. Secondly, need for immeasurable computation power will line up without which data assessment would never be actuated for enterp rise use.

Towards Digital Unity with Universal Acceptance

Today, technology is constantly evolving and expanding its reach across every imaginable areas of development. Enterprise world has quickly adopted the data-driven architecture, thus expanding its reach and service to every of its existing and potential users.
Amidst the multifaceted development being registered across the world, the concept of Universal Acceptance is turning out to be a game changer. As simple it may sound, Universal Acceptance (UA) pretty much withholds the potential to transform the modern internet into a faster, better and more efficient work model.

As records suggest, UA was conceptualized and developed to overcome the short character limitation of top level domains (TLD). Universal Acceptance was devised to dissolve the technical hindrances that a user had to face while accessing any specified web address or email over a compatible internet device.
By enabling Universal Acceptance, domain names and e-mail addresses can be easily processed and resolved to provide a better optimized user experience across any region and boundary. With UA, a user can access custom domain and email addresses efficiently, without worrying about the past TLD restriction of using two or three character long domains.
The goal of Universal Acceptance is not just to validate domain names and email addresses, but also to quickly resolve the address and provide the user with his intended request, be it a domain or email. It allows people with different language preferences to easily connect and benefit from the use of internet.
UA has developed more as a requirement today, thereby letting users to surf through the internet in their own languages from around the world. With International and generic TLD’s taking up the lead, The Universal Acceptance Steering Group (USAG) came forward to resolve the problem of internet barriers and ensure that every global user receives a consistently better internet experience.
As a technology enthusiast, I firmly believe that Universal Acceptance is the key to digital unity. With UA, any person can access and assess the internet in his own understandable language and thus form a better connected world over the digital space. It ensures that all the custom email addresses and domains work effectively well across the international lines with the same efficiency and accuracy as they are intended to be.
Recently, Hon`ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhara Raje received the “Universal Acceptance Thought Leader” award by UASG. She received the award for implementing the revolutionary Raj Mail project, through which the citizens of Rajasthan could get an email address in the language of their choice. Mr Samiran Gupta, Head, ICANN India and UA Ambassador in India were present along with DOIT&C officials from Government of Rajasthan.

ICANN: Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers

I recently attended ICANN63 held in Barcelona, Spain. The event was 6 day long. Iattended many sessions and meetings which basically focused on working and stability of the Internet and also I got to meet many other dignitaries with immense knowledge.
It was a great experience attending ICANN63 and gaining more knowledge which will definitely help me in future.
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) helps coordinate the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) functions, which are key technical services critical to the continued operations of the Internet’s underlying address book, the Domain Name System (DNS).
ICANN is a global forum for developing policies for coordination of some of the Internet’s core technical elements, including the Domain Name System(DNS).
ICANN operates on the basis of consensus, with affected stakeholders coming together to formulate coordination policies for the Internet’s core technical elements in the public interest. ICANN is a Multistakeholder model and controlled by GNSO, GAC, IETF, TLG, RSSAC, SSAC, At-Large, ccNSO, ASO, UASG, Ombudsman and Nominating Committee.
There were more than 200 different sessions, the week-long meeting is a focal point for individuals and representatives of the different ICANN stakeholders (either attending in-person or participating remotely) to introduce and discuss issues related to ICANN policy.
At each ICANN meeting, anyone can make comments and ask questions on the main topics directly to the Board at the Public Forum. During the Public Forum, you may speak on behalf of your organization or as an individual. And I m glad that I also got the opportunity to present my views in front of many other dignitaries.
This started back in 1998 (30th Sept), when ICANN was incorporate in California as a non-profit public benefit corporation, The original ICANN Bylaws called for three Supporting Organizations.
And then on 24th December 1998, ICANN and University of Southern California (USC) entered into a transition agreement, under which ICANN assumed the performance of the IANA functions and responsibilities which were previously performed by USC.
There is also an ICANN’s History Project which explores the key events in ICANN’s growth, from its birth to its current day status. This project seeks to preserve the organization’s institutional memory by capturing stories from key figures who helped shape ICANN’s past and present.
A vital part of ICANN’s processes is the opportunity for there to be public comment on each substantial piece of work before it is put forward for final approval. ICANN has a proven commitment to accountability and transparency in all of its practices.
And its aim is to ensure a stable and unified global Internet.
