Xiaomi launches Mi Headphones Comfort at Rs 2,999

Xiaomi has launched a new pair of headphones in India. Dubbed Mi Headphones Comfort, the device is priced at Rs 2,999 and will be available on the company’s website starting April 18.
Launched in China last year, the Mi Headphones Comfort sports a simple design and is light in weight. It comes with cushioned headband and ear cups for a comfortable wearing experience. All the controls are placed on the left earcup, and Xiaomi claims that the device doesn’t strain the ears even after extended hours of use.
Available in Mint, Orange and White colour variants, the Mi Headphones Comfort has PU-coated earmuffs. As per the company, the material is ‘skin friendly’ and has a ‘sound chamber design’ for better noise reduction.
Xiaomi also says that the new Mi Headphones Comfort comes with a built-in dampening material that limits the impact of internal acoustic waves on the diaphragm. This, in turn, removes the distortion in the audio output.
The device is dust-resistant and comes with 1.4m stretchable matte cable. Weighing 220g, it has a frequency range of 20Hz-40,000Hz.
Recently, Xiaomi launched its budget smartphone Redmi 4A in India. Priced at Rs 5,999, the smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. It’s powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 128GB in size. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Xiaomi’s MIUI skin layer on top.
The dual-SIM Redmi 4A has a 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. A 5MP front-facing shooter is also there. Major connectivity options include 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 3,120mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
