The smartphone is known for its battery life and dual-lens camera powered by Leica. The company at that time launched the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant of the smartphone. Now, a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage of the smartphone has surfaced online on various stores across the world. The new version is priced for about $800. Huawei Mate 9 has an all-metal body and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box, topped with Emotion UI layer. The phablet-class smartphone has a large 5.9-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution.

The smartphone has a dual-camera setup, comprises a 20MP monochrome module and a 12MP colour module. In addition, optical image stabilization (OIS), a 4-in-1 hybrid autofocus system (having laser, phase detection, depth and contrast detection) is included in the mix. The smartphone can also recording 4K resolution video. An 8MP front-facing camera takes care of selfies and video calling tasks. For connectivity, Huawei Mate 9 offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support. Recently, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor sent out media invites for the launch of its Honor 6X smartphone in India. The company will launch the device on January 24 in the country. Honor 6X features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display with 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone runs on the company’s home-brewed octa-core Kirin 655 processor clubbed with Mali T830-MP2 GPU. Like the Honor 8, the Honor 6X’s dual-rear camera setup comes with 6P Lens and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) tech. While the first camera has a 12MP sensor, the secondary rear camera has a 2MP one. At the front, the smartphone features an 8MP camera for taking selfies and video chat.
