Zoho Corporation has introduced a suite of advanced agentic AI features across its primary product categories, aiming to boost customer growth, streamline routine operations, and allow employees to focus on higher-value work. These AI capabilities, now available for free, are integrated into Zoho’s Collaboration, Customer Experience, and Human Resources offerings, addressing key challenges that have previously slowed widespread AI adoption in businesses.
By leveraging Zoho’s unified platform and extensive app ecosystem, these intelligent agents can access and process data from multiple applications simultaneously. For instance, they can generate agreements from multiple text files and PDFs, check Zoho People for employee leave schedules before arranging meetings in Calendar, or automatically identify sales-related queries in Zoho Mail and convert them into leads in Zoho CRM.
Mani Vembu, Zoho’s CEO, emphasized that traditional barriers such as lack of data readiness, difficulty in integrating AI with legacy systems, and high implementation costs have hindered AI adoption. He explained, “Zoho’s internally-developed technology stack allows businesses to integrate these agents seamlessly into their operations with no need for third-party tools, additional time, or extra costs.”
Collaboration Enhancements
Zoho Workplace, the company’s collaboration and email suite, now incorporates agentic updates across Zoho Mail, Zoho Cliq, Zoho Sheet, and Zoho Tables. The Ask Zia assistant can execute complex multi-step commands, pulling data from different apps to produce actionable outputs. For example, it can locate emails from a specific client, summarize them into a document, and send it to a colleague—across email, word processing, file management, and chat.
The Lead Generation Agent automates sales processes by scanning unread emails in Zoho Mail, identifying potential sales opportunities, and directly converting them into leads within Zoho CRM. Additionally, Zoho Tables introduces AI Base Creation, enabling users to build entire data bases by simply describing their requirements. Features like Keyword Extraction, Sentiment Analysis, and Language Detection enhance data management, content categorization, and analysis for smarter operations.
Zoho Sign, the company’s digital signature platform, benefits from AI-powered assistance as well. Ask Zia can extract document data, proofread contracts, suggest edits, and answer key questions, enhancing document management efficiency for over 40,000 businesses.
Customer Experience Upgrades
Zoho Desk, the customer service platform trusted by more than 100,000 businesses, now features pre-built Zia Agents designed for common support tasks. The Resolution Expert automates ticket resolution documentation, helping agents address recurring issues faster and improve self-help resources for customers.
Human Resources Innovation
Zoho Recruit, the company’s talent acquisition platform, now includes AI-enhanced features like Candidate Matches and Job Matches. Zia analyzes resumes, job descriptions, and candidate profiles to provide context-aware, dynamic, and accurate matching, making the hiring process faster and more precise.
Moreover, AI-Assisted Assessment Generation enables HR teams to create tailored assessments, including questions, answers, and scoring schemes, for candidates, recruiters, and interviewers. This feature ensures evaluations are fair, efficient, and relevant to specific roles.
By embedding AI across its product ecosystem, Zoho empowers businesses to automate routine tasks, enhance decision-making, and improve overall operational efficiency—marking a significant step forward in the adoption of intelligent workplace solutions.
