WhatsApp is preparing a redesigned interface for its Android version, expected to be launched later this year in 2023

WhatsApp is gearing up to introduce a fresh design to its Android interface, likely towards the latter part of 2023. According to the latest update shared on the WhatsApp Beta Channel, this new design will be implemented specifically for the Android version of the app.
From the provided image, it’s apparent that WhatsApp plans to revamp its upper app bar in white, while opting for green text for its logo. The lower status panel will also adopt a white background, and various subtle adjustments have been made throughout, including the label cells: “all,” “unread,” “personal,” and “business.”

The introduction of these label cells is aimed at potentially enabling users to filter their conversations, thereby making it simpler to locate specific chats within WhatsApp. The design is aesthetically appealing, although distinguishing between the cells might be challenging, particularly since the green of the “All” cell doesn’t significantly differ from the gray of the unselected cells.

However, it’s essential to note that this preview is just a preliminary glimpse, and modifications may occur as the new WhatsApp interface for Android progresses through the Beta Channel. The revamped design is expected to be unveiled before the conclusion of the current year.
