OnePlus has taken the initiative to announce the launch of its custom software overlay, OxygenOS 14, based on the latest Android 14 version, even before Google has released the stable Android 14 build. The anticipated launch date for OxygenOS 14 is September 25. This implies that the stable releases of OxygenOS 14 might start rolling out in the upcoming month. The upcoming version of OxygenOS will also unveil a novel feature known as the Trinity Engine. Here are the specifics.

The global release of OxygenOS 14 is scheduled for September 25. Although OnePlus has not yet disclosed whether there will be a worldwide event for the launch, the company asserts that OxygenOS 14 is set to be one of the pioneering operating systems founded on Android 14. This launch is poised to introduce an array of fresh functionalities aimed at augmenting the overall user experience.

OxygenOS 14, the new software skin from OnePlus, will make its debut with the Trinity Engine, a novel performance platform devised to foster seamless integration between hardware and software. Trinity Engine is purported to tackle “industry-wide challenges related to power efficiency, multitasking capabilities, and consistent high-speed performance.”

OnePlus employs various terms to depict the components of the Trinity Engine, such as CPU Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, ROM Vitalization, HyperBoost, HyperTouch, and HyperRendering.
