Prateek: What is the vision behind ProMobi? Please tell us about the journey of the organization.
ProMobi Technologies is a SaaS company driven by the mission to build world-class SaaS products from India. Our vision is to create products and experiences that are admired and loved by companies across the globe and that solve critical business use-cases, making a social impact.
The journey of Promobi started in the year 2014 as a parent company to Scalefusion (then known as Mobilock Pro), the first product in the Promobi family. It was initiated as an Android kiosk-based locking solution and evolved to become a full-blown device & endpoint management solution. We wanted to make mobile device and endpoint management easy for everyone. The basic idea was to associate Scalefusion with simplicity, so we wanted to build a product that removes complexities and then position ourselves the same way so that people start resonating the term Scalefusion with an easy MDM solution. Before 2019, Scalefusion was a major fit for only SMBs where we catered as an Android-centric device management solution. But in 2019, we introduced more features for iOS device management and added macOS and Windows 10 device management capability within our MDM solution portfolio This eventually helped us in expanding our solution set to cater to the needs of larger businesses. That was the year when we rebranded to Scalefusion.
When the pandemic hit, almost all the companies moved to a remote working environment with absolutely no physical IT intervention. We acquired a quick market penetration during that time when there was an upsurge in remote working and remote learning, and Windows 10 device management was critical. We established ourselves as a stronger player in the MDM market.
Since then, we have kept on adding our capabilities to make Scalefusion more & more industry agnostic. With an OEM partnership base of around 22, we have expanded our geographical presence in around 120 countries and we gathered more than 8000 customers and quite a few accolades in our stint so far. We were listed in Gartner Midmarket Context Magic Quadrant for Unified Endpoint Management in 2021. We were also named as one of the best IT management software by G2 in 2022.
Besides Scalefusion, we added two more products to our portfolio, Nuovopay and Nuovoteam that serve in the SaaS space as a Smartphone Financing Enablement Platform and an Enterprise Communication and Collaboration Solution, respectively.
We believe this is just the start of our journey in the SaaS products space. We are yet to achieve huge milestones and we are all braced up for that!
Prateek: What is the USP of ProMobi that keeps the company ahead of the competition?
Our USP is our simple and easy-to-use solution, with a short learning curve along with a robust support and customer success team that offers the best customer experience throughout the device management journey. We are always a step ahead to provide our customers with free year-round support and pre-sales consulting where our customers can leverage our product experts for getting help on business-specific use cases. We strongly believe in assisting our customers throughout their stint with us, regardless of the length of it, irrespective of the deployment size. We focus on building a feature set that the customers need and use and this is what sets us apart from others.
Prateek: Please tell us about Scalefusion.
Scalefusion is our star product. It is a device and endpoint management solution that is easy to use and tailored to make any enterprise’s mobility journey effortless and hassle-free. It allows companies to configure their mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, rugged devices, POS and digital signages and other digital devices for business use across multiple operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS and Windows 10. Organizations can get started with their mobility journey without a specialized IT team and use Scaleufsion for several deployment scenarios such as dedicated/fully-managed devices, COPE (Corporate-owned, Personally Enabled) devices and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device).
Scalefusion restricts the usage of the device to only business-related apps and websites, protects critical business data with several security features and ensures seamless, authorized access to help employees become productive. It is an industry agnostic solution that finds application in every industry, be it construction, healthcare, mining, logistics, transport, education, hospitality, telecom, retail, delivery, BFSI and IT.
Our motto is clear, no difficult onboarding or complex dashboard & policy-driven flows, just a plain and easy-to-use platform with a clutter-free dashboard to assist organizations in managing their endpoints.

Prateek: What is the significance of enterprise mobility and how does Scalefusion solve the problem?
Enterprise mobility solutions are used by companies to ensure that the mobile devices and apps used by the employees are adequately managed, monitored and secured to drive improved employee productivity, corporate data protection, cost efficiency and overall organizational operations. This is where Scalefusion comes up as a solution that allows organizations to seamlessly manage the devices and endpoints. It tackles the challenges of security threats associated with mobile devices. With the easy-to-use and scalable platform, companies can now practice enterprise mobility in a safe and secure environment.
Prateek: What will be the strategy for expansion and growth in the coming years?
In the coming years, we plan to focus on developing solutions for niche markets and exploring uncharted territories across diverse industries. We plan to integrate features like Mobile Threat Defense and OS Patch Management. In order to drive MDM adoption, we will reinforce OEM collaborations and drive the Scalefusion Infinity Partner Program. We will channel our efforts on key areas and expansion plans and we hope to expand into new geographies and create a stronger impact, globally.
