ITVoice )- How did you start your professional life (The beginning)?

Mr. Gopal Pansari )- By Academics, I’m a Chartered Accountant. Founded Savera in the year 2004 as a retail operation for IT products. Subsequently diversified to distribution adding Sony as the first brand for distribution. We gradually added brands like Gainward, Adata, Rapoo, Thermaltake, Luxa 2, Edimax, HIS and Samsung Mobiles for distribution & retail for specific goes. We are now present in 15 states with 20 branches. The turn over FY 12-13 was 160cr. We are expecting to grow and reach to 180cr FY 13-14.

ITVoice )- What is the current set of business?

Mr. Gopal Pansari )-  At the moment we are focused towards distribution of IT products and we intend to grow substantially with our existing core brands and subsequently there would be new brands which would come in due course for distribution at a National Level.

ITVoice )-  What are the marketing activities that were undertaken to build the brand?

Mr. Gopal Pansari )-  Customer/Channel experiences your brand in numerous ways: products, price, marketing, sales personnel, service etc. Each of these contacts or touch-points molds the customer’s impression of the brand. Some of these touch-points are obvious, like product, price, and one-on-one customer interactions. Your brand image creates expectations. It defines who you are, how you operate, and how you’re different from your competitors. In essence, your brand image is a promise – a promise that must be kept. We thrive to exceed our customer expectation and experience with us.

Mr. Gopal Pansari )-  We are looking at distribution of Value added products, Retail and E-tailing as a future opportunity. The diversification would start once we meet the vision set out for us in Distribution.

ITVoice )-  What is your philosophy in life?

Mr. Gopal Pansari )-  The universe is an ever-changing environment we strive to adapt in. So, my life is my own,no one else controls it. I want to live my life to the end filled with happiness but I won’t let things take me down (aiding that is training and experiences I’ve gathered along the way).

ITVoice )-  Who are the personalities from IT field you admire the most?

Mr. Gopal Pansari )-  Mr. Suresh Pansari, founder of Rashi Peripherals has been an inspiration for me. I regard and admire him as a true leader.

ITVoice )-  What has been your contribution towards providing support to the IT Sector of India?

Mr. Gopal Pansari )-  Has been an Active member for Computer Association of Eastern India and have been designated on various posts like Treasurer, Secretary & Vice President.

ITVoice )-  MOTO in life & message to IT society?

Mr. Gopal Pansari )-  Never be ashamed of what you feel. You have the right to feel any emotion that you want, and to do what makes you happy.
