Tech grads, Infosys co-founder wants you to follow this man

To become successful in one’s professional career they must learn to perceive like N Chandrasekaran, said Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy to graduating students at National Institute of technology Trichy on Saturday.
Narayana Murthy , the chief guest for 13th convocation of NIT-Trichy at the newly inaugurated golden jubilee convention hall, praised the Tata Sons Chairman who was also present at the occasion as the guest of honour.
N Chandrasekaran was conferred the degree of Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa). He is a distinguished alumnus of the institute having completed master of computer applications from the institute in 1986.
“Study his life and follow his precepts in every action of yours. Use him as your role model in every decision you take. You will turn out to be a successful professional,” the Infosys founder told to outgoing students Congratulating the graduating students to be lucky to receive degree in the presence of an iconic alumnus of this institution who is a role model, Narayana Murthy recollected Chandrasekaran’s tenure as the chairman of Nasscom where he had demonstrated that there is no glass ceiling for those who demonstrate competence, courage, commitment and character.
“I hope somebody will write a book on his illustrious life so that all of us can refer to it in our hour of moral dilemma and our hour of vacillation,” he said, praising Chandrasekaran.
The prestigious President’s Medal for overall highest CGPA was received jointly by Amrith Rajagopal Setlur (BTech computer science and engineering) and Yashvi Singh (BTech metallurgical and materials engineering). 39 institute medals were distributed to nine BTech., 1 BArch., 22 MTech., 3 MSc, 1 MCA and 1 MBA students.
