Reliance Jio Plans To Target 100M Customers

Reliance Jio plans to target around 100 million customers in the first year after the launch of its 4G services.

JioRIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani wants to complete the target in the first 100 days which is scheduled to be launched by next year.

The company plans to target the existing base of high-value customers as it intends to offer them unlimited access to 4G services on a subscription-based model.

RJio’s telecom service will only be a platform around which it will wrap a host of online services.

The telecom operator has identified five key areas to attract users – entertainment, education, health care, e-commerce and social media. The company calls this the NDA strategy – network, device and applications.

The commercial launch is likely to be held before April in 2016.
