Redington Appointed as Red Hat Distributor for India

Redington India, today announced a collaboration with Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source solutions, to distribute the full range of Red Hat solutions in India, including Red Hat Cloud Suite, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Ansible Automation and Red Hat JBoss Middleware.

In today’s world of digital era, enterprises are increasingly turning to open source to accelerate their digital transformation efforts. They realise the benefits of building and collaborating on open source rather than developing new software from the ground up. Today it is at the core of many emerging technologies including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain and machine learning.

With this collaboration Redington will identify and appoint regional system integrators, ISVs and born in the cloud partners to further expand and develop open source partner ecosystem in India. Redington’s partners will be able to offer their customers Red Hat-supported open source technology for deploying their workloads on public, private and hybrid platforms through the container platform and while automating service, application and infrastructure provisioning and management, though a subscription-based model that allows them the ability to scale out based on their business requirements.
