Realme is set to introduce the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro alongside the Realme 11 5G Series in India on August 23rd

Realme has revealed the launch date for its upcoming Realme 11 series smartphones in India, coinciding with the introduction of the Buds Air 5 Pro TWS earphones. These earphones were previously unveiled in China in May, and the Indian version is expected to maintain the same specifications. The Buds Air 5 Pro is set to debut on August 23 at 12 noon alongside the Realme 11 smartphones. The audio device will be available on Amazon, with its key features already disclosed on a dedicated microsite.

According to the microsite, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro will incorporate co-axial dual drivers consisting of an 11mm bass driver and a 6mm micro-planar tweeter, offering deep bass and detailed treble. These earphones are anticipated to be the first in their segment to feature dual drivers, although the precise pricing remains undisclosed. The audio device is also teased to provide 360-degree spatial audio effects for an immersive theater-like experience. The earbuds will support Hi-Res audio and the LDAC codec for high-quality sound reproduction. The design of the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro resembles that of the Apple AirPods Pro, featuring a stem and slightly angled silicon ear tips.

In China, the core features of the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro encompass active noise cancellation (ANC), environmental noise cancellation (ENC) support, and a battery life of up to 40 hours. The price for these earphones in China is set at CNY 499 (~Rs 5,750).
