The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has been officially introduced in China, serving as a successor to the Ace Pro from 2022 and the Pro iteration of the earlier Ace 2 model.
Catering to performance-oriented users, especially youth and gamers, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro stands out as the brand’s inaugural smartphone featuring a substantial 24GB RAM capacity.
In terms of appearance, the device closely resembles the standard Ace 2 and even retains the recognizable alert slider feature. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1240 pixels), 450 PPI, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 2160Hz PWM dimming. The centered punch-hole houses a 10-bit HDR-enabled panel capable of reaching a peak local brightness of 1600 nits, with a global peak brightness of 1200 nits.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, accompanied by LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a sizable 9140mm² VC cooling system for optimized thermal performance.
In terms of software, the device operates on ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 and is promised to receive three Android updates. It draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery and is equipped with 150W SuperVOOC fast wired charging support.
In the camera department, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro features a 16MP front-facing camera and a triple-camera setup on the rear. This setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support (Sony IMX890), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
Connectivity-wise, the handset offers dual SIM support, 5G compatibility, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Additional features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, an IR blaster, and a customized x-axis vibration motor derived from the OnePlus 11.
