Collector T. Ravikanth has announced that now it will be possible to enroll in voters’ ID list by visiting any e-mitra center. The collector has appointed a nodal office for the same purpose. Explaining the procedure, the collector said, “By visiting CSC and e-mitra kiosk, one can easily add, remove, changing the name or change of the address in the list can be done easily. “
The person will have to pay a nominal fee of Rs. 10 for the service. The service charge has been determined by the Election Commission.
The service is another achievement for DOIT in the area of e-governance. This will be highly helpful in the light of upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan next year. DOIT has been taking up many assignments in the sector of e-governance to simplify the lives of common man.
