One can access Aadhar card related details through mobile phone or also online.
Now one can still track its Aadhaar status through SMS on his mobile. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI),part of the Planning Commission of India, has started another service for the convenience of common man so that one can access the Aadhaar card details by sending a simple sms.
For this one has to send a text message (SMS) after which he will receive the latest status of his Aadhaar as a reply to his SMS on his mobile number. This service is provided absolutely free to however, mobile operator may charge its standard SMS prices.
One needs the enrollment no for this purpose. Point to be noted here is that one will receive only their current Aadhaar status and no any other details. Most important thing is the person has to use his registered mobile number for sending the SMS. It should be the same as which was entered at the time of enrollment.
If the Aadhaar number has been generated then the person will receive Aadhaar no in SMS and if Aadhaar number has not been generated then the current status will be sent to his registered mobile number through SMS.
