Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X’s special edition announced in China

57037092Xiaomi has launched its Redmi Note 4X smartphones range in China. The new series includes Note 4X Hatsune Miku Special Edition. The device comes in Platinum Silver, Hatsune Green, Champagne Gold, Cherry Powder and Matte Black colour options. It is set to go on sale in China starting February 14. However, there is no word on the handset’s price. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Special Edition features a 5.5-inch screen with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. There is a 13MP rear camera along with a 4100mAh battery.
The specifications are similar to that of Redmi Note 4 that launched in India recently. The only difference here is the introduction of new colours. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X also carries the same design as the Redmi Note 4 . Launched in India last month, Redmi Note 4 comes in three variants based on inbuilt storage and RAM. The smartphone can support microSD cards of up to 128GB. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with the company’s native MI UI 8 skin.
The Redmi Note 4 is backed by a 4100mAh battery and also comes with an IR blaster and the Mi remote control app. There is a front-facing 5MP camera for video calls and selfies. Remaining specifications stay the same as the Redmi Note 4X. The dual-sim smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass and micro-USB as connectivity options. As for the price, the Chinese manufacturer has priced the 2GB RAM version at Rs 9,999, the 3GB RAM variant at Rs 10,999 and the 4GB RAM variant at Rs 12,999. Since both the Redmi Note 4 and the Redmi Note 4X feature the same set of specifications, it is unlikely that the device will be reaching India.
