Samsung Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage goes on sale in India

Samsung recently launched a more powerful version of its Galaxy S8+ flagship smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 74,900, the smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The same is now also up for sale on Flipkart and Samsung shop.
As part of the introductory offer, the company is offering a free wireless charger (worth Rs 4,499) with the smartphone. The new variant is available in Midnight Black colour option. On Samsung Shop, the company is offering Rs 2,500 cash back to ICICI bank credit card holders. An exchange offer of up to Rs 15,000 is also available. Potential buyers who are interested in getting the smartphone from Flipkart can get Reliance Jio double data (28GB+28GB) at Rs 309.
Back in April this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in India at Rs 57,900 and Rs 64,900 respectively. The smartphones have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Both Galaxy S8 and S8+ have edge-to-edge curved displays, something that the company calls ‘Infinity display’. When watched in landscape mode, 21:9 movies fill the Galaxy S8’s 18.5:9 aspect ratio screen.
The Galaxy S8 sports a 5.8-inch QuadHD+ (2960×1440 pixels resolution) ‘Infinity Display’ with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 570ppi pixel density. On the other hand, the Galaxy S8+ has a 6.2-inch QuadHD+ (2960×1440 pixels resolution) ‘Infinity Display’ with 529ppi pixel density.
Both are powered by an octa-core Exynos Series 9 processor. They feature a 12MP dual-pixel camera with f/1.7 aperture and OIS, along with an 8MP autofocus camera with f/1.7 aperture. Some of the connectivity features included are Wi-Fi, NFC, USB Type-C, GPS and Bluetooth 5.0.
Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support, while the Galaxy S8+ comes with a 3,500mAh battery.
