India’s leading online fashion e-retailer expects festive sales to double this season
This Diwali, India’s leading online fashion retailer Jabong is giving away Apple iPhones, iPads, TV sets and DSLRs among a host of other prizes during the Jabong Super Style Fest, slated from October 27 to November 8, 2015.
Elaborating on offers this Diwali, Jabong’s Interim CEO and Group CFO of Global Fashion Group, Mr. Nils Chrestin, said, “Besides a whole lot of deals on our super-stylish apparel, footwear, jewellery and accessories, Jabong is making this Diwali special by giving its customers a chance to win a plethora of amazing daily and weekly prizes ranging from travel vouchers to attractive cash backs, as well as a chance to win iPhones, iPads, television set and DSLR cameras. As grand prize, Jabong is also offering five lucky couples international holiday packages.”
On November 9, Jabong is also planning a big bang on Dhanteras by giving away 101 prizes to mark the auspicious number in Indian tradition. The Jabong Super Style Fest will be supported with a 360-degree marketing campaign, and the fashion e-retailer expects sales to double this Diwali.
“Our Diwali fest also comes at an opportune time when our Indian consumers enter the holiday and the wedding season. So we have also launched our Formals store, where buyers can choose from a wide variety of latest trends, styles and ways to wear formals across occasions. Our chic and trendy collections cater to all age groups,” Mr Chrestin added.
During the Durga Puja festivities, Jabong registered a jump of 150% in its ethnic and casual wear categories in eastern India. Earlier, Jabong witnessed a 300% surge in sales within a month of launching British high-street fashion brands TOPSHOP and TOPMAN. Its latest Autumn Winter collection of Alia Bhatt for Jabong has also witnessed a phenomenal success in recent months. Recently, between October 22 and October 24, Jabong also brought back its Super Weekend, which offered customers its Bestseller inventory of international labels like Vero Moda, ONLY and Jack & Jones from 15000 product catalogues and over three lakh pieces.
