ICANN64 | Day 4 – APAC Social and APRALO Networking

The APAC and APRALO networking event held on 12th of March was of particular interest for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) community. The meet was targeted to incite industry contacts and socializing so that the industry professionals can promote their participation towards creating a better internet servicing.

APRALO fundamentally deals with Internet-related issues in Asia, Australasia and the Pacific Islands. The body is directed and supported by ICANN community and typically works to ensure the expansion of efficient Internet services in public interest.

The APRALO team works to enhance the adequacy of internet-based services and facilitates end-user demands by bringing in certain policies and services that can improve security, accessibility and stable growth of global internet. During the networking meet, the members and community leaders were introduced to various other board members and participants where they had brief discussion regarding ICANN’s multi-stakeholder model and other essential steps needed to realize their end goal.

The event was jointly sponsored by ICANN, APRALO, APNIC, and DotAsia.
