ICANNWiki is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Internet community’s collaborative development of wiki articles on ICANN and Internet Governance-related topics. The wiki provides neutral, third-party information for ICANN meeting attendees and Internet citizens at large. It is an open platform governed by wiki values, such as Neutral Point of View, transparency, assuming good faith, and building together.

ICANN Wiki Edit-a-thon is a community-centred learning and sharing event aimed at adding material related to Internet governance and ICANN to ICANNWiki. This objective is accomplished through hands-on training and sharing between ICANNWiki employees and stakeholders. Adding appropriate data to a centralized, democratically constructed site like ICANNWiki guarantees the community feels empowered to construct and study data on how to maintain the Internet as a resource. Our goal in hosting these activities is to democratize the accessible data, shed light on it, and, if possible, translate it into Spanish, Chinese, and Swahili for a greater, more powerful, worldwide society.
