Google To Launch Asus Chromebit In India In Jan 2016

The candybar-sized PC on stick will cost Rs 7,999. It allows its users to upgrade their existing computers to get a faster experience similar to Chromebook.

The launch was announced by Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai at the ‘Google for India’ event.

Features of Asus Chomebit:

The OS is of Google’s Chrome and is a plug and play device that can be connected via HDMI port. Users can connect an external keyboard and mouse.

It is powered by a quad-core Rockchip processor.

It includes Mali-T624 for graphics duty. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage.

It comes with 100GB of free storage space on Google Drive.

It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. It has one HDMI out port and one USB 2.0 port. It can playback 1080p videos on large screen.
