HP recently unveiled a range of sleek and lightweight laptop models designed specifically for the Indian market. The introduction of the new HP and Pavilion series notebooks aims to cater to the diverse needs of the modern youth, and we are bringing you our first impressions.

HP 14 & 15 Laptops

Kicking off the lineup, HP introduced the all-new HP 14 and 15 models. These latest additions serve as entry-level laptops, with the former boasting a 14-inch display and the latter featuring a 15-inch display. Despite their budget-friendly price, both models impress with their slim and lightweight form factor, accompanied by a sturdy metallic build. With a starting price of just 39,999 INR, these laptops offer excellent value for money.

Weighing a mere 1.4 kilograms, the HP 14 ensures excellent portability, while its larger sibling, the HP 15, comes in at around 1.6 kilograms. Despite their lightweight nature, these laptops offer a solid feel and a touch of premium quality, courtesy of their metallic construction. However, it’s worth noting that they don’t exude the same level of sturdiness as the more expensive Pavilion series models. We found the typing experience on these laptops surprisingly enjoyable. They exhibited great responsiveness, likely attributable to their powerful 13th Gen Intel Core processors.

The Pavilion x360

Thanks to its 360-degree hinge, which enables it to offer a 2-in-1 laptop form factor, the Pavilion x360 series has been a well-liked addition to the Pavilion line. The term “2 in 1” basically means that the Pavilion x360’s touchscreen display allows it to operate as both a standard laptop and a tablet. The user experience with this device was fairly streamlined during our hands-on testing. The laptop was quick, and as it had a 360-degree hinge, we could also test the touchscreen.

The Pavilion x360 delivers an exceptional experience in both tablet and laptop modes. Whether you need the convenience of a tablet or the functionality of a laptop, this model has you covered. Typing on the Pavilion x360 is a delight, offering a top-notch experience that truly enhances productivity. Its metallic build quality adds a touch of premium elegance to the overall package. Despite its impressive features, the Pavilion x360 remains remarkably lightweight, tipping the scales at just 1.41 kilograms. With a starting price of 57,999 INR, it offers great value for those seeking a versatile and high-performing device.

The Pavilion Plus 14

Moving on to the priciest addition unveiled today, we have the HP Pavilion Plus 14, boasting some noteworthy specifications and features. The standout aspect of this model is undoubtedly its top-notch metal build quality, which exudes a true sense of premium craftsmanship and design. The inclusion of an OLED display is another significant highlight. With vibrant colors, impressive image quality, and a 14-inch size, this OLED panel delivers a stunning visual experience. Not to mention, the display also offers a commendable 2.8K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz.

The higher refresh rate and improved display panel combine to create an immersive and visually pleasing viewing experience. The keyboard provides a satisfactory typing experience overall. It’s worth noting that this particular laptop stands out from the rest as it runs on the older 12th Gen Intel Core processors, unlike the others that feature the more advanced 13th Gen processors. As the most expensive model among the four new additions, the HP Pavilion Plus 14 starts at a price point of 81,999 INR.
