Elon Musk inspired , Twitter’s new CEO looking to build ‘Twitter 2.0’

It’s been almost six months since the controversial takeover of Twitter by Elon
Musk
, and now he has appointed a new chief executive officer , Linda
Yaccarino
, who was a former head of advertising at NBC universal. The app has
been taking limping steps in financial terms and she’s been brought on the
train to oversee business operations.

Linda is also known in the advertising industry as the “velvet hammer” due her
exceptional negotiation skills. For an app like Twitter which has been suffering
badly in monetary terms, she could be a perfect match with fewer chances of
being rolled over. There are fewer than 10% of Fortune 500 companies which
are headed by women and she’s going to be one of them now, which she has
hard earned through sitting at higher ranks in some of America’s biggest media
companies.

She said that she has been inspired by owner Elon Musk’s vision to create a
brighter future and is excited to help transform the social media platform.

She
said “I pride myself in my work ethic , I’ve met my match.” (On joining as CEO) .

Twitter 2.0 won’t be an easy task at hand for Linda, but she has her ample
amount of experience which she is committed to bring on to the table , as the
revamping of tweeting platform would involve bringing back advertisers,
diminish the heavy debt load and many such challenges.
