Aditya Infotech Ltd has been creating records in the area of Security and Surveillance. In an Exclusive interview to IT Voice, Mr. Aditya Khemka, CEO and Director, Aditya Infotech Ltd., talks about his plan for the company and the current scenario in  Surveillance and security market.

Shweta: How would you define the current Security & Surveillance landscape? What will be its size?

Mr. Khemka: The Indian security and surveillance market has been growing steadily over the last few years. In the past, the focus has been on analog-based installations or CCTVs as they are commonly known. However, with the rising demands from sectors like Hospitality, Banking, Healthcare, Real Estate and Retail etc. the need for superior technology, affordability and customization has become paramount. Megapixels Cameras, Thermal Imaging Cameras and IP-based surveillance systems, access control, home security solutions are fast becoming the standard for the surveillance industry.

Shweta: What are the core areas in the Surveillance space you would like to focus at present?

Mr. Khemka: We provide state-of-the-art security & safety solutions from global brands while keeping in mind the rigorous Indian conditions. We focus on creating application based suites of surveillance solutions for different verticals such as government, educational institutions, banking, hospitals, transportation and much more. Our team aims to provide customized solutions that can address security and surveillance requirements of any individual or institution.

We have complete suite of security & safety solutions including video surveillance, intelligent video surveillance, mobile surveillance, thermal imaging, fire  safety, human monitoring, access control & Attendance management and home automation.

Shweta: How are you bringing value to the distribution of security equipments?

Mr. Khemka: Aditya Infotech Ltd. (AIL) has one of the largest security distribution networks in the country with owned offices in more than 45 locations across India. We have a team of more than 550 sales, technical solution experts and support professionals catering to 6000 system integrators, dealers and distributors across the nation. This allows us to effectively distribute, grow and position our 30 principal brands in India. Our network and team of experts are also adept at supporting our channel partners in the installation and maintenance of security solutions and products.

Shweta: What are the opportunities for the channel?

Mr. Khemka: Aditya Infotech is constantly striving to improve its channel and system integrator penetration in the Indian security industry. Channel empowerment is the key thrust for us and we continuously undertake special initiatives to educate and train channel partners about the products and solutions that we offer.  Our aim is not only to create a wide distribution network but also to create awareness and understanding within the community for the varied solutions that we can provide.

Shweta: How do you see the Govt. vertical as your customer? How strong are they in implementing Surveillance solutions?

Mr. Khemka: Various incidents at the domestic and international level have created a growing need & understating of high-end security and surveillance solutions in the Government. The Government has become more aware and cautious about public safety & security after unfortunate incidents and has started allocating funds towards various city surveillance projects. We have noticed a rapid growth and demand of intelligent surveillance solutions public areas, transportation and other areas of concern. Having already taken a leadership in safety and security industry, our solutions are being deployed at different places to create a safer environment.
