BSNL Topped in Voice Clarity by My Call App

BSNL has the uppermost rating for voice quality over calls, Reliance Jio and Vodafone have both appeared in the 2nd spot, and Airtel is 3rd, as per user feedback generated via the My Call application and issued on the TRAI’s website. TRAI has periodically updated this user data which was 1st published on its website in 2017’s December and it has been rated as the popular telecom service providers between 1 and 5 for the call quality experience which they offer across India. However, Vodafone and Idea have merged to become Vodafone Idea or otherwise known as Vi, the data still makes a difference and ranks Idea disjointedly in the 4th spot.

According to the data updated on 5th November on the TRAI’s website, BSNL has a snowballing user feedback rating for voice quality over calls and it has scored 3.4 out of 5, which is premeditated for a total number of 2,014 samples. Reliance Jio and Vodafone are given 3.3 out of 5. It’s significant to note that while Jio has a sample size of 10,292, Vodafone has a much lesser sample size which is 3,408. Airtel has 9,520 feedback samples and has gotten a rating of 3.0 and the Idea has 977 feedback samples and it has been given a rating of 2.9.

The data divide indoor, outdoor, and traveling call quality. While the indoor and outdoor call quality ratings for the 4 TSPs are mostly similar, BSNL has scored big on call quality delivered while the user is traveling and it has gotten a user rating of 4.4, whereas Airtel has gotten 3.3, 3.2 respectively. The data is also mapped for every Indian state and can be seen individually for each TSP for the last 4 months.

The total call quality experienced by users in each Indian state and across all TSPs has raised few matters. The user feedback samples have said that only 60% of the calls were reasonable, while 26% had poor voice quality and about 14% of calls were released.
