blackberry z10The price of the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone has been slashed again, not by the Canadian handset maker though. The BlackBerry Z10 is now up for grabs at a reduced price of Rs 15,654 via online retailer Amazon.in. Earlier, BlackBerry had reduced the price of the Z10 as part of the company’s 10th anniversary, celebrating its foray into the Indian market. The device is available for Rs 17,990 courtesy BlackBerry.

Despite the company’s aggressive attempts, the BlackBerry Z10 has failed to garner the kind of response it had intended when it was first launched at Rs 43,490. Back in September last year, BlackBerry had slashed the price of the Z10 by 31 per cent, from Rs 43,490 to Rs 29,990. The BlackBerry Z10 features a 10.668-cm (4.2-inch) display with a 768 X 1280pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor and runs BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.2.1. It comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via memory card slot. It decks in a 1850mAh battery.

Earlier, BlackBerry launched its Z3 smartphone in the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 15,990. The BlackBerry Z3 is now up for pre-order via Flipkart, The Mobile Store, and BlackBerry stores and will be officially up for grabs from 2 July. The BlackBerry Z3 features a 12.7-cm (5-inch) qHD display with a 960×540 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8230) processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. It sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera and a 1.1MP fixed-focus front-facing camera. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The device runs BlackBerry 10 OS (version 10.2.1) out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, NFC and Micro-USB. It decks in a 2500mAh battery, which can deliver up to 15.5 hours talk time and up to 384 hours of standby time, claims BlackBerry.
