Asus Zenfone Selfie variant With Diamond Cut Back Launched In India For Rs. 12999

Asus launched its Zenfone Selfie smartphone in India last year at Rs 15,999 and now, the company has launched a ASUSnew variant of the same handset. The new version comes with a diamond cut back panel like the one on the Zenfone 2 Deluxe. Other specifications of the device remain the same.

The new Zenfone Selfie is priced at Rs 12,999 and will be exclusively available on Amazon in Glacier Gray, Sheer Gold, Polygon-Illusion Diamond White, Illusion Polygon Blue and Illusion Smooth Pink colour options.

To recall, Asus Zenfone Selfie features a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The phone offers 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD cards.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, Asus Zenfone Selfie sports 13MP front and rear cameras, with the latter accompanied with dual-colour real tone flash. Connectivity options of the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
Last month, Asus launched its ZenPad 3S 10 tablet in Taiwan. The device has a 9.7-inch QXGA display of 2048×1536 pixel resolution. Asus has priced the tablet at around $341 and it became available in Taiwan from August 1. The company has, however, not revealed any details about the global roll out of the device yet.
Asus ZenPad 3S 10 is powered by a hexa-core MediaTek MT8176 chipset . The tablet runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers 4GB of RAM, along with 32GB of internal storage. Of course, the storage is also expandable up to 128GB through microSD cards.
