Xiaomi Redmi 3S India Release Details Leaked

Xiaomi has just launched its Redmi 3s smartphone in India, but it seems like the company has already started working on its next smartphone in the series. A working prototype of the Redmi 4 smartphone has reportedly leaked online. The leaks are said to give a glimpse into Xiaomi’s plans for its next budget smartphone.

Like the Redmi 3s, the next Redmi 4 smartphone will also feature a metal body along with a fingerprint scanner. According to a report by GizmoChina, the Redmi 4 might come with 2.5D glass on the front while the speaker grills are located at the bottom.

The device might run an octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The report also states that the device will run Android Marshmallow-based MIUI 8.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi has launched two Redmi 3s versions — 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage at a price of Rs 6,999 and 3GB RAM and 32G GB ROM at Rs 8,999 respectively.

The Redmi 3s comes with a 5-inch 720p HD display and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The device supports microSD cards of up to 128GB in size. Redmi 3s comes with hybrid dual-sim support and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Xiaomi’s MIUI baked on top.

It offers a a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for selfies.Other features include 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS along with a 4,100mAh battery.
