Asus to launch smartphone with 13MP rear camera in February

56622434Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus is all set to launch another smartphone in India. As per the industry sources, the company seems set to launch a smartphone in February. There are few details available about the smartphone so far. Sources suggest that the upcoming smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch display and will be backed by 4,100 mAh battery. The handset will feature a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and an 8MP front camera. Recently, Asus launched its latest smartphone called the Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom at CES 2017. The smartphone has dual rear cameras with 2.3X optical zoom and 12X total zoom. The cameras are powered by Sony IMX 362 12 MP sensors (with a 59mm focal length). It can capture more light and is claimed to take superb low light images. Asus has added Super Pixel technology in this smartphone and can also track subjects with laser AF tech. Phase detection is on board, too.
The front camera is powered by a 13 MP wide angle sensor in association with Sony IMX (214). It can shoot pics in RAW format and features such as ISO, shutter speed and WB settings have been added to it. A 5,000 MAH battery powers the Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom and can last for 42 days (stand by time).
Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom comes with metal finish exteriors and is available in 3 colours (including gold and black). Over that, this smartphone is just 7.99 mm thin and weighs 170 grams. A 5.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top is also offered. All this built on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. The phone will be available in Feb 2017.
