It has been widely expected that Apple will launch its new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C at 10 pm IST today, but the company itself has made no announcement about what will be launched. Hence, there is always room for different, if not added products in the launch.
Scheduled to be held in the smartphone giant’s Cupertino, California headquarters in less than five hours, Apple has a host of other products that might be up for show. The products that could be launched today include a brand new iOS 7, the new Macbook Pro, the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C and others.
The rumours about the iPhone launch have been based primarily on the leaks from Apple’s supply chain in China. Further, the company itself has announced a buy back scheme for older models of the iPhone, which is also indicative of a newer version coming out in the market. Moreover, Apple has suffered a major set back at the hands of manufacturers like Samsung and many Chinese rivals.
Apart from the iPhones, Apple may also be launching a new version of the iPod, which will go beyond the A5 processor that the last generation of the device has. In addition, there may also be a brand new music streaming device from the company. The new Macbook Pro, with Intel Haswell Core processors may also be put on offer in a few hours.
