Apple fixes new zero-day used in attacks against iPhones, Macs

Apple has issued security updates to fix zero-day vulnerabilities that were exploited in attacks targeting iPhones, Macs, and iPads.
The vulnerabilities include a WebKit flaw (CVE-2023-37450) and a Kernel flaw (CVE-2023-38606).
Apple acknowledged that both issues might have been actively exploited. The WebKit flaw was part of a zero-click exploit chain used to deploy spyware on iPhones via iMessage exploits.
In addition to these, Apple backported security patches for a zero-day (CVE-2023-32409) that was addressed in May.
Since the beginning of the year, Apple has patched a total of 11 zero-day flaws targeted by attackers on iOS, macOS, and iPadOS devices.
The latest security updates have been applied to various devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Macs running different versions of the operating systems.
