ZTE Launches Android Lollipop Smartphone, Zmax 2

ZTE, the fourth-largest smartphone vendor in the USA has introduced a new pocket-friendly handset in its home ZMAX2country. Dubbed as Zmax 2, the device happens to be a successor to the existing ZTE Zmax model which was unveiled last year. Priced at Rs. 9900, the phone is all set to compete against Moto G (third generation) which offers similar specifications.

ZTE Zmax 2 comes with a 13.97 cm (5.5-inch) HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Powered by a Snapdragon 400 System-on-Chip clocked at 1.2GHz processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, the device comes with expandability to 32GB via microSD card.

The smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flashand 2MP front-facing camera to capture selfies. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and microUSB connectivity. It also features proximity sensor, accelerometer and ambient light sensor.

While the phone is all set to enter the market on September 25, there is no word on availability in other countries.
