ZTE Axon 7 Mini Showcased At IFA 2016, May Launch In India

ZTE introduced the smaller version of the Axon 7 smartphone at ZTEIFA 2016 – ZTE Axon 7 Mini. Priced at 299 Euros, it comes in Ion Gold and Platinum Grey colour variants. The company will be launching the device in US, Russia, Germany, Spain, Poland, Japan, Australia, and India soon.

In terms of specifications, the Axon 7 Mini features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The handset runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The smartphone offers 3 gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of internal storage expandable up to 128GB with an external microSD card.

The smartphone flaunts a metal unibody and dual front facing speakers , the latter being powered by Dolby Atmos for a better audio experience. It also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

It has a dual sim functionality and sports a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera with wide angle lens. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is also backed by a 2,705 mAh battery which supports the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 out of the box.

Apart from the Axon 7 Mini, the company also launched the Nubia Z11 smartphone at the event. Boasting of a bezel-less design, ZTE Nubia Z11 sports a 2.5D curved glass display with an 81% screen-to-body ratio. The 5.5-inch Full HD display offers 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The phone has two variants of 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage respectively, expandable up to 200GB through a microSD card.
