Lenovo Launches P2 & A Plus Handsets At IFA 2016

Lenovo showcased its P2 and A Plus smartphones at IFA 2016 . The Lenovocompany has priced the Lenovo P2 at 248 euros and the Lenovo A Plus at 69 euros.

Lenovo P2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. Powering the device is a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM. It offers 32GBG/64GB of internal storage expandable through a microSD card. The handset runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform, sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 5MP front camera. The connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and is backed by a mammoth 5,110 mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Lenovo A Plus has a 4.5-inch display with 845×480 pixel resolution and runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop platform. Powering the device is a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6580 processor coupled with a 1GB of RAM. It offers 8GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB through a mciroSD card. The device flaunts a 5MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 2MP front camera. The device is backed by a 2,000 mAh battery and offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

The Beijing-based company had earlier unveiled its K6, K6 Power, and K6 Note smartphones at the IFA 2016 as well. All three flaunt metal unibodies and are powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The handsets run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform and come equipped with a fingerprint sensor.

The smartphones would be available in Dark grey, Gold and Silver colour variants and are expected to go on sale later this month. However, the company is yet to reveal anything about the global launch of the devices.
