Zebronics Buddy wireless speaker launched in India at Rs 1,699

IT peripherals maker Zebronics has launched a portable wireless speaker called Buddy in India. Priced at Rs 1,699, the speakers boast of a vintage design and will be available at leading retail stores across India.
Weighing 630g, the speakers sports LED Display along with RGB LED light and 5 watts RMS output. It is backed by a 1,200mAh battery that is claimed to last up to 3 hours of continuous usage. The speaker also comes with built in FM and offers connectivity options such as USB, MicroSD, AUX and Bluetooth v4.1 that works up to 10m range.
With 17.3 x 13 x18cm dimensions, the speaker has a frequency response of 100Hz-18KHz and 4 ohms of impedance.
Speaking on the launch of Buddy speakers, Pradeep Doshi, Director, Zebronics, says,”Yet again, comes another small wonder from Zebronics, which promises nothing but BIG Sound. Scoring full on good looks with good Music, the speaker is designed to make heads turn, crafted for pure musical performance.”
Earlier this year, Zebronics launched wooden tower speakers in India. Called Full Moon, these speakers bear a price tag of Rs 15,999. The speakers have a 200-watt output and come with built-in digital power amplifier and equaliser. This allows users to control volume, bass and treble of the speakers.
The Full Moon is a remote-controlled speaker that features two 20.32cm sub-woofer drivers. It has a slim wooden body-design with round RGB lights system at the top. The frequency response ranges from 20Hz to 20KHz.
For connectivity, the device offers dual microphone jacks, two wireless microphones and an SD-card slot supporting up to 32GB storage. It also offers Bluetooth v3.0 and USB support via which, the speakers can be connected to mobile phones, PCs, TVs and other devices. It has Karaoke functionality and comes with 2 wireless microphones and support for dual wired mic.
