Xiaomi Sold 20,000 Units of Mi3 Smartphone In Just 2.4 Seconds

IT Voice News : The fourth batch of the Mi 3 devices went out of stock within just a few seconds after the online sale started via Flipkart today. 20,000 Mi 3 units were up for sale today. This is the largest lot of units, the company has offered yet. Xiaomi Mi 3 has repeated history once again.

During last week’s flash sales the company sold out around 15,000 Mi3 devices in just two seconds, and broke the record of last month’s five seconds’ sale. Now as 20,000 have sold out, the total number has reached to 55,000 till date in India. Registrations for 19 August sales will start today at 6 p.m.

Flipkart holds a record of crashed server due to huge traffic during this kind of flash sales season. On July 22, when Mi3 debuted, the site went down for a while too. The main features of this Xiaomi Mi 3 are 12.7-cm (5.0-inch) full HD display, 2.3GHz snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. Priced at Rs 13,999 Mi 3 poses huge threat for mid-end devices like Moto G and BlackBerry’s new Z3 device.
