Xiaomi To Launch New Phone And Laptop On July 27

Xiaomi will reportedly launch its first laptop along with Redmi Note 4 at an event in Beijing on July 27. MISpeculations suggest that the first Mi laptop might be powered by an Intel Atom processor and will look like Apple’s Macbook. The company has shared a teaser to invite fans to purchase the tickets for the launch event, where the company will most likely launch these devices.

Xiaomi will reportedly launch its ‘Mi laptop’ in two screen-sizes — 12.5 and 13.3-inch. Rumours have it that Xiaomi might introduce its Mi Note 2 smartphone as well.

According to earlier leaks, the upcoming Redmi Note 4 smartphone will feature a dual-rear camera setup along with a fingerprint sensor on the back.

The Redmi Note 4 will reportedly feature a metal unibody design with antenna bands across the top and bottom. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right. The device will probably be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Internal storage is expected to be 16GB, with the ability to use microSD cards.

The fourth-generation Redmi Note phablet will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It will be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Xiaomi recently introduced a compact mosquito repellent in its home country China. Part of the company’s Mi Ecosystem, the repellent is priced at CNY29 and is available for purchase in China.

The Mi electrical mosquito repellent has a microUSB slot, making it possible for the device to be powered by a powerbank . This ensures that the repellent can be used outdoors as well.
