Last month, Xiaomi announced that both the Redmi Note and the Redmi Note 4G would be headed to India before the end of the year. Yet while the 3G-only model has been a flash sale star already, the same can’t be said for its 4G-capable sibling. Redmi Note 4G will also go on sale via company’s set-method through Flipkart flash sale on 30 December at 2pm (IST). However, the company has not yet revealed the number of units which will be made available during the first flash sale.
The registrations for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G handset will begin from Tuesday 6pm (IST) via Flipkart. The company has up till now released two variants of Redmi Note smartphones, among which only 3G variant has gone up for sale till date.
However, Xiaomi was recently banned in India from selling devices not powered by Qualcomm chipsets, because of their conflict over the Ericsson’s patents. However, the company was relieved last week from this restrictions, and had also placed its first flash sale, with the Qualcomm-based Redmi 1S. The Redmi Note 4G will also be made available through the Airtel stores across six cities. The company has not yet provided any detailed information about the same. However the customers will have to register separately to grab the Redmi Note 4G device from Airtel stores.
