With one tap, WeChat’s Friend Radar feature allows you to search other WeChat users in your vicinity and add them to your contact list. It’s that easy to stay connected and the perfect solution for exchanging contact information in group settings. Simply press “+” in the menu bar > Add Contacts > Friend Radar
Easily Meet Up with Friends Using Real-Time Location Sharing
By inviting your friends to share their Real-Time Location, you’ll never have to worry about someone getting lost again. You can help them navigate their way on the WeChat map and through an integrated walkie-talkie session. Simply open a chat > + > Locations > “Real-time Location” > View map with your friend’s location.
Find Any Photo in a Group Chat with Newly Added Photo Album
All photos shared in a group chat are now saved in an easy access location, there is no need to scroll backwards to locate your favorite photos anymore. Simply open a picture in a group chat > press the icon on the bottom right.
Find Any Chat or Contact Fast with Universal Search
Don’t worry if you forgot that important date or name in a chat conversation. With WeChat for Android’s Universal Search feature, you can quickly refer back to any message or contact by typing into the search field within the Chats tab.
