Vivo is set to expand its V-series lineup in India with the debut of the Vivo V70 FE, scheduled for launch on April 2, 2026. Positioned as the first “Fan Edition” in the series, the device aims to deliver flagship-grade photography and endurance at a more accessible mid-range price point.
Revolutionary Camera and “Darkness Glow” Aesthetics
The headline feature of the V70 FE is its 200MP Ultra-Clear main camera, equipped with a self-developed Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) system. This high-resolution sensor supports up to 30x zoom and specialized modes like Super Motion Snapshot and an 85mm Portrait focal length.
Complementing the internal hardware is an experimental design dubbed “Darkness Glow Technology.” The ‘Monsoon Blue’ variant features a photoluminescent rear panel that reveals glowing, streak-like patterns in the dark after being exposed to light. For users seeking a more traditional look, a ‘Northern Lights Purple’ gradient option will also be available.
Power and Performance
Under the hood, the V70 FE is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset. It houses a massive 7,000mAh battery—one of the largest in its segment—supporting 90W FlashCharge and bypass charging to preserve long-term battery health.
The device features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. Notably, the phone carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering superior resistance against dust and high-pressure water jets. Running on Android 16-based OriginOS 6, Vivo has promised four years of OS updates and six years of security patches.
