Unisys Cloud 20/20 Version 7.0 Technical Project Contest Open Or Registrations

For the first time, the contest is also open to experienced technology professionals

Unisys Corporation today announced that registrations unisys_logo_redare open for Cloud 20/20 Version 7.0, the annual technical project contest.

Now in its seventh year, the contest aims to catalyze innovative thinking around the latest disruptive technologies. For the first time, this yearโ€™s contest will be open to participants from both industry and academia.

Cloud 20/20 V7.0 offers two unique options for aspiring participants – Student Innovation Projects (SIP) and Targeted Innovation Projects (TIP). Under SIP, engineering students will be required to submit project ideas around the latest disruptive trends. This contest is open to research students, post-graduates, as well as engineering students in Computer Science, Information Technology, and other related fields. Under TIP, which is open to both engineering students and experienced technology professionals, participants will be required to submit projects based on the technical problem statements proposed by Unisys engineers.

Registrations for Cloud 20/20 close on December 24, 2015. The winning teams stand a chance to win prizes amounting to INR nine lakhs. Additionally, they will also get an opportunity to intern and explore career opportunities with Unisys.

The contest will culminate in a grand finale in Bengaluru in April 2016, where finalists will demonstrate their technical projects to a panel of distinguished judges from the industry and academia.
