Ultra Slim Lenovo Vibe X Smartphone May Be Coming To India

SlFY24315PM1192013The Lenovo Vibe X may be coming to India in December. According to a report by Gizbot, a source close to the matter told the website that the smartphone, which is currently selling only in China, may be headed to retail stores in India in December. The Vibe X is the company’s slimmest smartphone and was showcased at the IFA 2013 event in September this year. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor and comes with the twin camera technology.

According to Gizbot’s source, the device could be launched in India before Christmas, which means that it could come anytime within the first few weeks of the month. Moreover, Gizbot reported that the device could be priced between Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000. Lenovo’s current flagship, the K900 is priced at around Rs 28,000 on Flipkart. The Vibe X should join this range and take over as the company’s flagship device in the market, which would put its price neared to Rs 30,000. Also, this would fit Lenovo’s strategy of selling high end smartphones at a much lower price than its competitors.

The Vibe X has been touted as the best smartphone offered by the company till date. It is only 6.9-mm thick. The Chinese variant of the device is powered by the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor. The Vibe X also has a 12.7-cm (5-inch) IPS display with 1080 pixel resolutions and a pixel density of 440 pixels per inch. It has a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a massive 5 mega pixel front shooter.
