T-Block Accelerator under the Telangana Blockchain District announces names of 30 shortlisted startups for intensive Start-up Training Program.

T-Block Accelerator, a starter accelerator program under the Telangana Blockchain District announces names of 30 shortlisted startups that will have an intensive Start-up Training Program. It also announced names of major blockchain partners like Tezos India, R3 Corda and Settlemint as their platform partners and CV Labs , a Swiss-based incubator as the Hub Partner. With the help of these industry leaders in the in the field of blockchain, T-block will provide the shortlisted Indian startups with technical knowledge so that they can build their solutions on their platform, provide GTM (Go-To-Market) support, technology implementation support and financial aid on case basis.

Together Telangana Government and Tech Mahindra organized the T-Block Accelarator. It is run by IBC Media which is an innovation management company.Over 160 blockchain based startups had registered.Out of them only 30 names were shortlisted to undergo the three-week training program.The training program included one-on-one sessions with a panel of mentors,  workshops, presentations, discussions, and assignments to provide the practical knowledge necessary to build the relevant blockchain products with real-world applications.After further selection,the start-ups will be given an oppurtunity to present their innovative ideas and get mentored by experts from the government of Telangana, Tech Mahindra, C-DAC and IIIT Hyderabad.

Jayesh Ranjan ( Principal Secretary, ITE&C Department, Government of Telangana) said that Telangana is one of the first states to focus on emerging technological trends to help the growing and newly established startups and businesses in India to improve the efficiency and functioning of the government.The selected start-ups have enough potential to solve the real life problems faced across different sectors.The new partnership with the global  platform protocols strengthens their commitment of supporting these start-ups.

Rama Devi Lanka (Director, Emerging Technologies & Officer on Special Duty, ITE&C Department, Government of Telangana) added that they are looking forward to work closely with the selected start-ups under the support of Telangana BlockChain District and the mentorship from numerous global partners.They  are expecting robust solutions from these selected start-ups which will help lead the nation towards the path of progress and success.

Nicolai Reinbold, Ecosystem and Incubation Manager at CV Labs added that they are delighted to be a part of this initiative which aims at visioning Telengana government as the blockchain capital of India.Supporting the start-ups based on blockchain products with T-block being the  perfect platform is a step forward towards progress and success. He further emphasized that the selected start-ups have enough potential and are a validation for the technological growth in India.They are very happy to join the government based accelerator program to build a blockchain community in India.

Om Malviya , President, Tezos India Foundation expressed how delighted they are to be a part of this accelerator program.They strongly believe T-Block accelerator program is the best opportunity to identify the potential star-ups in the blockchain community.He says it will be really exciting to see how the start-ups utilize the features that Tezos will provide to benefit their business.He assured full support at every step.  

Shahzad Fatmi, CEO SettleMint India, mentioned that they are honored to partner with T-Block.  He added that SettleMint will help the startups with their global experience and best practices to create robust applications and business strategies for their companies.They believe that start-ups should focus on solving the business challenges and take forward the solutions to the market.He also ensured that T-Block’s selected start-ups will have full support from SettleMint to achieve their targets.
