Swipe Announces Konnect 5.1 Handset At Rs 3,999

Swipe Konnect 5.1 features a 5-inch FWVGA display and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS (upgradable to Android 5.1 Lollipop). Powering the device is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GBROM. It comes equipped with an 8MP primary camera and it packs a 3,000 mAh battery.

The Indian smartphone maker Swipe expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Konnect 5.1 budget Android smartphone. The company has priced the device for Rs 3,999 and it will be exclusively available on Snapdeal in Sandstone black finish.

On the specifications front, the Swipe Konnect 5.1 features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution. The handset comes with dual sim functionality and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system which is upgradable to Android 5.1 Lollipop. Powering the device is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

The handset comes equipped with an 8MP primary camera accompanied with LED flash and a 3.2MP secondary camera for clicking selfies. The connectivity options of the device include 3G, WiF, Bluetooth, GPS and it packs a 3,000 mAh battery.

Last month, the company launched 3G smartphone Swipe Virtue priced at Rs 5,999. The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop opearting system. Powering the Swipe Virtue is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB ROM. It houses a 2,500 mAh battery and 8MP rear camera with flash.
