Sneak Peek of OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Genshin Impact Edition with Paimon Teaser Revealed

OnePlus has officially confirmed the much-anticipated launch of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone on August 16. In anticipation of this release, OnePlus has also unveiled a special edition of the Ace 2 Pro inspired by the popular game Genshin Impact.

Over the past years, OnePlus has introduced various special editions of their smartphones tied to Genshin Impact. We have also had the opportunity to review some of them, including our hands-on experience with the Ace 2 Xiangling edition.

According to a recent update on Weibo, the forthcoming Ace 2 Pro will feature a limited edition version influenced by the endearing character Paimon from the game. Paimon is known for her sociable nature and unique way of referring to herself in the third person, making her a charming character.

In contrast to previous special edition models like the OnePlus Ace Pro, the official teaser unveils that this upcoming Genshin Impact edition will not showcase a custom-designed exterior. The image suggests a grey-themed design without any physical alterations. Nevertheless, it is anticipated to boast a customized user interface based on Genshin Impact.

Observing the teaser closely, a mysterious box is featured at the bottom of the post, possibly containing Genshin Impact-themed accessories like a special charger, back cover, and collectibles such as cards, stickers, and a themed SIM ejector tool. We can get a glimpse of potential customizations through our hands-on experience with one of the editions.

Based on recent reports, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected to offer an impressive 24GB of RAM. The device is rumored to house a substantial 6.7-inch OLED display, delivering a sharp 1.5K resolution along with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone might also boast a robust 5,000mAh battery with support for rapid 150W fast charging. Building on previous speculations, there’s speculation that the Ace 2 Pro could potentially be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
