New Delhi – December 12, 2012: Sanovi Technologies, the market leader in Disaster Recovery Management software concluded their prestigious annual Business Partner Summit 2012 at Pattaya. The summit turned up to be a huge success and well received by the partner community, with participation of more than 30 senior representatives from partner organizations that included Wipro, TCS, HP, Netmagic, E&Y, Paladion, i-Value and Spancotel.
This year’s summit theme was ‘bond to rule’ and aligned to celebrate the special bond that Sanovi shares with their partners emphasizing on the elements of teaming, innovative approaches and ideas to spark new opportunities and markets.

The Sanovi Business Partner Summit 2012 was hosted by Sanovi’s Lead – Marketing, APAC & Middle East, Narayana Menon K along with Sankara Krishnan. There were sessions on market opportunities and leadership. Sanovi presented its product roadmap and open-house sessions with customer scenario role play anchored by Lakshman Narayanswamy, VP – Products and Anurag Kuthiala, Pre-Sales Head.
Narayana Menon said, “Sanovi market leadership in the DRM space is based on an established track record with more than 80 customers and an extensive and robust partner ecosystem that augments the depth and breadth of our go to market strategy.”
Elaborating on the partner discussions, Menon stated, “Key strategies were formulated and signed off to penetrate deeper in to our focus verticals of BFSI and the Government sectors, as well as around other key verticals like Telecom, Manufacturing & IT/ITES. Geographical expansion plans were also discussed in the wake of Sanovi setting up offices in Korea, Singapore, Middle East and also planning entry in to the Americas during the first half of 2013. Discussions were also held on key joint-marketing initiatives that were undertaken with our partners this year and also reaffirmed to take these to the next level going forward in to 2013 to support business objectives drawn up for the year ahead.”
Among new marketing program initiatives discussed were a vertical-focused event series jointly with Wipro as well as initiation of an enablement and training series for all the partner organizations in attendance.
Partners see Sanovi as a key cog in their DR practice which completes the DR story for their customers by providing key elements like DR monitoring, drill automation and extensive reporting capabilities that Sanovi suite of DRM solutions brings to the table. This in turn provides the end customer assured Recovery Readiness, real time information regarding adherence to set service level agreements, faster ROI realization owing to extensive automation, while eliminating the human error angle (interestingly 93% of disasters are caused by humans as opposed to 7% which are acts of God). The partners and Sanovi teams gathered for the Summit also enjoyed some fun time doing team building activities at the famous Coral Island coupled with adventure sports like para-gliding and an underwater walk opening up a whole new world and perspective.
