Samsung Galaxy J5, J7 Officially Launching In India On May 9

Samsung’s latest smartphones Galaxy J5 and J7 are all set Samsung_Logo.svgto launch in India. The South Korean giant has sent media invites for an event scheduled for May 9 where it is likely to launch the devices.

Talking about the specifications, the all-new Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution (1080x1920p) and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor running at 1.6GHz, backed by 3GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage and supports microSD cards of up to 128GB capacities.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) has a smaller 5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with HD (720x1280p) resolution. It packs the 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor under the hood, with 2GB RAM. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and microUSB 2.0, while battery capacity is rated at 3,100mAh.

Like its bigger sibling, the smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, has 16GB internal storage, supports microSD cards of up to 128GB capacity, and has the same rear & front camera setup.
