Panasonic P55 Max smartphone with 5,000mAh battery launched at Rs 8,499

Panasonic has expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of a new smartphone. Dubbed P55 Max, the handset is priced at Rs 8,499 and will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
The P55 weighs 180g and its USP is a big 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone comes with fast charging support and sports a metal unibody. It has a 5.5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution and runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.
Panasonic P55 Max is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core processor, paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. MicroSD card support is there as well. For imaging duties, the device features a 13MP rear camera with quad-LED flash. There is also a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Recently, Panasonic launched its DSL camera – Lumix GH5 – in India. The camera is priced at Rs 1,43,990 for the body only, and Rs 1,88,990 with the 12-60mm F2.8-4.0 kit.
Panasonic Lumix GH5 is capable of recording smooth 4K video at 60fps/50fps. The company claims that the camera is designed for photography enthusiasts, as well as professional photographers and videographers. It’s equipped with VFR (Variable Frame Rate) technology and allows users to record over-cranked/under-cranked video in 4K (60fps, maximum 2.5x slower) and Full HD (180fps, maximum 7.5x slower) resolutions.
The GH5 has an upgraded 20.3MP digital live MOS sensor without low-pass filter, in addition to the new Venus engine. Moreover, the focus areas have been increased from 49 to 225.
