Oppo has quietly introduced the Oppo A38 smartphone in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). While the company has listed the device on its website with detailed specifications and features, the price and availability details have not been confirmed yet. Here’s an overview of what the Oppo A38 has to offer:
The Oppo A38 comes with dimensions measuring 163.74 x 75.3 x 8.16mm and a weight of 190 grams. It features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 720 nits, making it visible in direct sunlight. The display also supports 100% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB color gamuts, and it boasts an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 89.90%, thanks to its waterdrop notch design.
For photography, the Oppo A38 sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. On the rear, it is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera featuring an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus support, accompanied by a 2-megapixel portrait lens. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording 30fps 1080p videos.
Under the hood, the Oppo A38 is powered by the Helio G85 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, and a substantial 5,000mAh battery, which supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. The device offers 64 GB of internal storage with the option to expand it using a microSD card. It also features dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
While the exact price of the Oppo A38 remains undisclosed, it will be available in two color options: Glowing Black and Glowing Gold. The device is expected to launch in various Asian markets, including India, in the coming month.
