Oppo F1s smartphone’s Rose Gold colour variant goes on sale in India

57083093Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has launched the Rose Gold colour variant of its F1s smartphone in India. Bearing a price tag of Rs 18,990, the smartphone is available exclusively on Flipkart. The key highlight of the Oppo F1s is its selfie-focused camera. The smartphone has a 16MP front-facing snapper. This is complemented by the camera app, which includes different modes like Beautify, Selfie Panorama and screen flash. The handset also has a 13MP primary camera.
Oppo F1s features a 5.5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution. It’s powered by an octa-core MediaTek SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. There’s also 64GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 128GB in size. The F1s runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, skinned with the company’s ColourOS 3.0 UI layer. Packing a 3,075mAh battery, the smartphones includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB and Bluetooth 4.0 as major connectivity options.
Huawei, another major Chinese smartphone manufacturer, also announced a Pink coloured variant of its Honor 8 smartphone recently. The Honor 8 has a metallic design with a glass back and comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor. It features a 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The screen comes with ‘Eye Care’ technology, which reduces the background light to reduce strain on user’s eyes.
Powering the Honor 8 is an octa-core Kirin 950 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of onboard storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 128GB in size. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, topped with Huawei’s EMUI skin layer. The hybrid dual-SIM device boasts a dual camera setup at the back, comprised of two 12MP modules and dual-tone LED flash. There’s also an 8MP front-facing shooter included. Connectivity options of the Honor 8 include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. The handset is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with fast-charging support.
